We are now hiring a senior leader to be on the forefront of securing AI in Bangalore and across Singapore and India — someone who will represent Operant at the highest levels of the regional enterprise market and help define what great AI security looks like for the organizations shaping the future of the region.
The Role
This is a senior Customer Success Engineer role spanning post-sale technical ownership and ongoing consultative partnership across Singapore and India.
You will be the day-to-day technical face of Operant AI in Singapore and India — supporting and extending the work of Operant's founders, including the CEO, CTO, and COO, who hold the senior customer relationships in the region. You are their trusted extension on the ground: the consistent, knowledgeable presence that enterprise customers rely on between executive engagements. This is not a transactional support role. It is a consultative technical partnership — you are expected to show up as a credible peer to senior security and engineering leaders, earn their confidence through deep product and domain expertise, and serve as the connective tissue between customer needs and Operant's global team.
Success in this role requires deep technical credibility paired with polished, professional engagement. You are fluent in India's enterprise business culture — you understand how decisions are made, how relationships are built, and how to navigate the nuances of working with multinational firms, large Indian conglomerates, and technology enterprises across Singapore and India. You bring gravitas, discretion, and executive presence to every interaction.

What You'll Do
Customer Success Engineering for AI Cybersecurity
- Own the post-sale technical engagement for strategic accounts — serving as the long-term trusted technical advisor on AI security architecture, platform adoption, and evolving threat coverage
- Drive successful onboarding and time-to-value for new customers, ensuring clean deployment of Operant's runtime defense stack across their AI and cloud environments
- Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs/EBRs) with senior customer stakeholders, tying Operant's security telemetry to business outcomes and risk reduction metrics
- Proactively identify and remediate adoption gaps, integration challenges, and coverage blind spots before they become escalations
- Advise customers on AI TRiSM frameworks, OWASP LLM Top 10, and evolving best practices for AI security posture across Singapore and India enterprise environments
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities — new use cases, additional product modules, and broader organizational rollouts — within the existing customer base
- Champion customer feedback and requirements internally, acting as the regional voice of the customer to Product and Engineering
- Build reusable success assets: deployment guides, integration runbooks, security architecture reference patterns, and onboarding playbooks tailored to the Singapore and India enterprise context
Regional Presence & Ecosystem
- Support Operant's founders in senior-level engagements with key accounts across Singapore and India
- Enable and support channel partners including MSSPs, GSIs, and VARs across the region with technical training and co-delivery
- Represent Operant at regional industry events, CISO roundtables, and enterprise security conferences across Singapore and India
What You'll Bring
Required:
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), agentic AI platforms, LLM orchestration, or AI agent security
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks and vendors — such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, AWS Bedrock Agents, Google Vertex AI Agent Builder, or similar — and a clear understanding of how these systems introduce novel security risks at runtime
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Customer Success Engineering at a cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure company, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal-level role
- A demonstrated track record of supporting or working alongside direct, named customer relationships at the enterprise level
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and container security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Strong working knowledge of API security, runtime application protection, CNAPP, or cloud workload security
- Fluency in AI/ML deployment architectures — you understand how LLM applications, AI agents, and MCP-connected systems are built and where they are vulnerable
- Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite and senior technical stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience managing the full post-sale lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, QBR/EBR, expansion, and renewal
- Based in Bangalore with willingness to travel across Singapore and India (25–35%)
- Available during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours for global team meetings, cross-functional communications, and interactions with US-based leadership and engineering
Preferred:
- Prior experience in penetration testing or offensive security — understanding attack methodologies from the adversary's perspective is a major plus in helping customers understand and prioritize their AI threat surface
- Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or platform/infrastructure engineering — operational experience with production cloud systems at scale is a significant advantage
- Deep existing relationships within enterprise security, FSI, telco, or government segments across Singapore and India
- Experience in a growth-stage or Series A/B startup environment where you've had to build process as well as execute
